Invoicing

In the tournament module, it is now possible to create invoices for registered teams and send them to the relevant team contact. A payment link will be included in the e-mail, enabling the person to make the payment. This link can be shared and will become inactive once the payment has been made. This option will be accessible according to the required permissions, and billing will be reserved for organizations with a PAYSAFE merchant account.

Within an organization, billing will also be available in the communication module on the Spordle ID home page. This feature will be reserved for organizations with a PAYSAFE merchant account. For the moment, only two invoice types are included: tournament and other. Other types will be added in the near future, such as travel permits and fines.

Allow to change a team in a tournament

You are now able to change a pending team to any other existing teams in the system. This will allow the tournament registrar to change an external team to an existing team in the system or to replace a team by any other team already existing in the system.

Select any pending team in the tournament list, click on Action and Change team. You will now see a screen that will allow you to pick the new team.

Deleting a team in a tournament

You are now able to delete a team in a tournament or a league as long as the team is not approved and that there is no invoices attached to the team. This will synchronize also to play.

Adding an external team to a tournament

It is now possible for the tournament manager to add an external team to the tournament without having to do it from page. In the team view , the add team button will now have 2 options : Add team(s) and Add external team.

When you select Add External Team, a form will appear to allow you to create the external team. The minimum information to enter is

• Team competition

• Name of the team

• Team category

• Contact.

This will create the external team and add it to the selected competition. When the new team is approved, the system will synchronize that team to play automatically.

Adding roster to an external team

We are adding a new option in Spordle ID to allow tournament manager to add players on an external team. This will allow the tournament manager to enter the roster of an external team prior to the tournament. This roster will be available inside Spordle Play automatically. This will be possible for pending and approved team.

• Select the external team for which you want to add players to the roster.

• In the action menu, select Add members.

• You now have a screen that will allow you to enter players. There is 2 modes : one by one by default or the grid view that will allow you to copy and paste the data from an excel spreadsheet. The mandatory information for a new player is :

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Date of birth

  • Gender

• After you save the player, you will be able to see the roster in the side panel and edit or delete that player.

The new players will be pushed automatically to Spordle Play.
