Note

This tab will not be displayed if the main organization of schedules has opted for the type of grouping "pool".

  • Groups are a fundamental element in organizing a schedule into several sub-schedules while maintaining a separate classification for each of them, all grouped on one and the same schedule page. Unlike pools, groups are directly associated with schedules rather than teams.

  • Each season, groups must be recreated and are specific to a type of schedule. They may apply to all categories or be restricted to specific categories, depending on the needs of the organization.

  • In addition to structuring schedules, groups can also be used to restrict authorizations, such as designating a league manager for a single group within a large league. When creating a group, you must name the group and select the type of schedule for which it will be available.

...

  • permissions. For example, in the case of a major league, it is possible to assign a manager role to only one section by creating a manager responsible for a specific group. This feature allows a more targeted and efficient management of competitions and events.

  • Here is how to add a group in the organization’s settings:

    • Go to organization settings: Go to the schedule settings section. Move down the cursor to Group.

    • Create a new group: Click the option to add a group.

    • Set parameters: Enter the group name, select the schedule type, and choose the categories. If you leave the last section blank, the group will apply to all categories.

    • Save and apply: Validate the group creation to integrate it into the schedule.

  • Once added, you can manage permissions and organize sub-schedules according to your needs.
