The HCR 3.0 comes with a lot of search features in order to quickly and efficiently find the team you’re looking for. We can search by a number of different fields to narrow our search as indicated by the red box. We can search by league, divisions, class, gender and status of the team. We can also see the status of the team as indicated by the green arrow and export the list as indicated by the purple arrow. We can also take action in “batches” by multi selecting teams and using the blue action button on the side panel as indicated by the yellow rectangle on the left.

Once you select multiple teams, the side panel will open and we can use the action button as indicated by the red arrow in the top right corner of the following image.

  • The league column will be display the name of the league such as “Midget AA” or it can be the name of the organization as some leagues are set up like this

  • The division and class will correspond to all divisions and classes that are recognized and support by Hockey Canada.

  • The date in the status column is corresponds to when the team was originally created

  • We can export our reports into a number of different formats such as csv, excel, pdf and a print off format directly from the HCR

When we select a specific team, the side panel will open on the right and the default tab will be the “General” tab as indicated by the red arrow.

The side panel has another tab called the “Contact Info” tab as indicated by the red arrow. This tab will show us who to contact for this team with their phone number and email address. We can also see which organization to contact and we will see their phone number, email and address. The contact info for the team contact and organization contact are indicated by the purple arrows.

Navigate to the ‘Settings’ tab

  • Select ‘Team Restrictions’ from the settings menu. Click ‘Add’.

Tip: Set-up your base restrictions that are common amongst divisions. This will make it easier to make slight adjustments are you create new divisions.

  • A screen will appear where you can select division and category.

    • There is an option to select multiple divisions at the same time.

Note: You will need to fill in the restrictions at the bottom of the page BEFORE clicking ‘Create’ at the top of the page.

  • Once you have put in your restrictions click ‘Create’.

Information on Different Restrictions

  • Enforced vs. Active

    • Enforced: If the restriction is enforced(the enforced checkbox is clicked ‘on’), you will not be able to execute your action. E.g., if the roster limit of 20 players is enforced, you will not be able to add a 21st player. If the enforced checkbox is not clicked ‘on’, you will only receive a warning pop up. Note: if you want the restriction to have either of the above responses, it must also be set to active.

    • Active: If the restriction is active(the active checkbox is clicked ‘on’), HCR3.0 will know to apply this restriction. If the checkbox is not clicked ‘on’, the system will ignore this restriction.

  • Player Allotment

    • A teams player allotment must include the active, affiliate and released players.
