New Features

Communication module

We are releasing today a brand new module for communication. The email function within HCR is intended for the purposes of hockey management. It is not intended for emailing participants notices of additional services, promotions, third parties promotions, and/or hockey specific research.

There is 3 different ways to initiate a communication.

From the communication module

If you want to initiate an email to users of an organization or multiple organization, you can start the process from the compose menu. From there you will be able to select the organization and then select the users that you want to use for the communication.

 

The users returned by the search will include the staff members and the users that have an access to the HCR. You can use the check box to remove some users from the list.

 

A button will allow you to download the list of emails in a csv file if you need to use that in an other system. The next step will allow you to set the subject of the email and also the content.

The system will then send an email to each of the email address you have selected. Note that the system will remove any duplicate in the email list and will send those emails as individual emails so other users won’t see the list of people in the mailing list. If someone reply to the email , this will go directly to the email address you have used to connect.

From the member search results

You can initiate an email from the member search results. Use any of the criteria to search your member list and from the results you can select all the contacts and use the action menu to start the communication module.

You will then see the same communication module with emails addresses preselected.

 

From the team roster

There is 2 ways you can initiate emails from the roster module :

  • using the action button on the team page will send a communication to all the participant on a team ( players / bench staff)

  • using the action button in one of the section of the team will send a communication only to the participant of that section.

 

Note : You will be able to send communication only to the participant linked to your organization.

New feature that save the filters

We have put in a place a new feature that will automatically save your search criteria in the system. For example, if you are in the member section and you add some criteria, the system will store then and when you come back to the search page, the page will be filtered with your previous criteria.

Transfer filters

We have have updated the search engine in the transfer module. You now have the option to filter on rejected transfers and you can also filter per direction ( outgoing / incoming )

 

File preview

We are launching this week a new file preview in HCR that will allow to view the content of the file without downloading the full file. This will work with images, excel documents, word documents and pdf’s. When you are in the document section. Also when you download the file, the file will now be named with the excat name on the upload.

 

Updates and Improvements

Display of taxes when registering to clinics

The display of the taxes in the clinic creation and in the clinic registration process has been updated to display the taxes properly.

 

 

Rostered participant report

We have added the position selected in the registration process in the rostered participant report and also in the online registration export.

Set the critical waivers as mandatory per default

As you create or edit a waiver and you set this as critical, the waiver will automatically be set as Mandatory.

 

Register site display

We have changed the display of the registration site. Now if we don’t have information of the registration inside HCR, we will display a button Contact US instead of registration closed.

 

Participant on multiple team report

This report as been changed so we now split the teams in different columns. We will show one team per column instead of grouping all of the in the same column.

 

USA transfer display

We have changed the display of the Transfer USA team. We have put the season on the top and change the label to Transfer occurs in . Note that it means that the USA transfer will be recorded in that season and it’s not the season where the player was on the team.

Add the count for items sold

We have updated the display of the Clinic Items, Registration Fees and Other items to include a column that will display the number of items sold for the season. This include all the transactions.

Default the category in the roll over team

We have improve the rollover team screen to default the previous season category so you don’t have to set them one by one.

What's Coming Soon?

Couple of improvements will be delivered next week :

  • Printing the receipts from My Account and HCR

  • Sorting the registration fee on the online registration form.

 

The Rostering improvements are under testing right now and will soon be delivered to the HCR.
