 This article is destined for organizations that aim to create a new merchant account connected to the HCR 3.0. 

 If your organization has already done online registration with the HCR platform, your merchant account will be automatically migrated to HCR 3.0.

 Hockey Canada and Spordle would like to inform minor hockey associations across the country that the creation of your merchant account for online registration will be available on June 1st, just in time for the launch of the new HCR! Creating your account will be done online via a user-friendly and integrated process directly within the platform. To make sure that your organization is ready to go on June 1st for integrated online registration, here is everything you need to prepare for the pre-onboarding process of your merchant account.

 Note that the merchant account setup lead time is about 72h. This is why we want to make sure that you have everything ready on June 1 to complete your merchant account creation. 


Merchant Account Creation Pre-Onboarding Requirements Checklist:

  • The organization address needs to be updated in the organization profile in HCR 3.0.  This data will be sent during the Onboarding process

  • Federal tax number or Non-profit organization number 

  • A contact that is a staff or volunteer from your organization

  • Bank account information
