New features 

LOCK ROSTER DATE

  • We are releasing 2 new settings to manage the lock roster feature:

    • Lock active player date

    • Lock affiliate player date

  • By default all branches will have those settings on as of today:

    • January 15th – As per Rule L.6 in the HC By-Laws, the ability to add Affiliates will be locked out at 5pm MST.

    • February 10th – As per Rule D. 3 the ability to add participants to the Active Participant section of a roster will be locked out at 5pm MST. 

  • No exception were added for teams, you will have to do that manually.

  • When a team is locked, you will be able to see the lock date in the roster section and no button will be available to add or edit.

  • Super user will always have access to bypass the locked date. The field will be available in the team information section.

 

IMPORTANT

Those settings will also be applied to any of the 3rd party(Teamsnap, Ramp, etc..) that connect to HCR. The same lock dates will apply to them. An email was sent to all of them to give them the information but it might happen that there application is not fully managing this.

Improvements 

ADD TO TEAM AND RELEASE DATES

  • We have change the default value of the added to team date and release date fields in the roster screen.

  • Starting now : the fields will be enabled by default when there is no settings or if the setting is disabled. The only way to block the fields to be used by MHA will be to turn on those settings

 

UNCONFIRMED MEMBER NOTIFICATION

  • Unconfirmed member notifications are turned off for all Branch Super User.

 

CREATING A NEW MEMBER

  • The creation of a new member by a registrar was previously putting the status of the member as unconfirmed. This is been reviewed and now it will be confirmed by default. So any new member will now be set as confirmed by default.
