New Features
Adding contact and emergency contact from My Account
Members with a 'My Account' can now add contacts to a profile that is linked to their account. This works similarly to other features in the system, where we are not exposing all the information of a member in 'My Account'. Only the information created by the 'My Account' user will be visible.
Here is the process.
Note: Right now this process is not linked to the registration process. Similar to the submit an address change request, you can submit a contact at any time.
We also added the last updated date of the contact in the member view.
Member search
We have added some functionalities around the member search and improved the performance of the search.
Search by email address
It’s now possible to search by email address in the database. The criteria for the search are done as below:
Primary email address of the member profile
Email addresses in contact information
Email addresses of ‘My Account’ link to the member
It is possible for a parent organization to search using only the email inside the organization but also in all child organizations. This will allow to find a member easily.
Search for unregistered members
This was a request from a lot of users and we are now adding a way to do this by using the 'No Member type' criteria. We are using the member type because this is the only standard way we know that a player was registered in the season. Since there are many ways to use the platform (with registration in HCR, with registration on 3rd party, only rostering) , the member type is the best way to find players that are not registered in anywhere.
Search as a parent organization
If you are an organization that have sub organization (branch, member partners, regions) you are now able to search by those criteria without entering the full name:

Invalid background check
Unconfirmed address
Missing documents
NRP transfer process
The following information is addressed to organizations using this type of transfer
We are releasing a new transfer type for organization that manage NRP transfer. In the transfer type you can now pick NRP as a type. You will be required to add a document and an expiration date as you do that.
The main difference with the NRP transfer is that the system will allow the same profile to have one NRP transfer with an expiry date and one regular share for the same player in the same organization.
Updates and Improvements
Clinics sessions display
When doing a registration to a clinic that has multiple session, we have improved the session display in the registration page to show all the sessions.
Approved by branch flag for Insurance claims
We have added a new field called ‘Approved by branch’ in the claim creation and the search for claims. This will allow branch to mark the claim as approved and Hockey Canada will be able to filter on that.
Inactive status for members
We have improved the process of changing the status of a member. An inactive member will now switch back to the Confirmed status as soon as one of those actions are triggered:
Add the member to a team
Register the member as a parent or as a registrar
Register the member to a clinic as a parent or as a registrar.
As a reminder, the rule is. if there was none of the above action done on the member profiles since the last 18 months, the player will become inactive.
Notification link
We have updated the process on the notification link. Some users have reported that the links in the notifications center were not working. This will now be fixed for future notifications created by the system. Any notifications already created will still be broken.
Address search with the Google Location services
A lot of users have reported issues with not finding addresses in the Google Location service or having the address not returning the proper city name. We are launching this week an update on that to improve the process. We have tested with all the issues submitted so far and the result is now a lot better then previously. If you still find any issues, please raise a support ticket so we can continue to work on this.
Upload document notification
The upload a document notification that is triggered when a ‘My Account’ owner upload a document in a member’s profile has been updated to add the member name in the notification.
