Competitive Organizations Tab
Determine which organizations will be allowed to enter teams in your league or tournament. This step allows you to specify the scope of your event (regional, provincial, etc.).
Examples:
A provincial tournament organized by one club may be open to all clubs in the province.
A regional tournament may be reserved for clubs from the same region only.
If no competitive organization is selected in your league or tournament, no existing team will be available for registration. They will only be able to register as external teams - an option we wish to avoid.
Tab access
Go to Manage in your league or tournament organization.
Go to the My Tournament tab
Click on the Competitive Organizations tab
If competitive organizations have already been added to your league or tournament, an interface will appear listing the organizations, divisions, and categories you have made available for registration.
Add an organization
Click on + Add
Follow these steps :
Division Selection: This step allows you to choose one or more divisions (age categories) that will be open to registration for your league or tournament.
(Optional) Category Selection: This step allows you to choose one or more categories corresponding to the levels of competition offered in your league or tournament.
Organization Selection: This step allows you to define which organizations will be able to participate in your league or tournament. Filters are available to refine your selection as required.
This opening does not affect the categories that will be offered in the tournament - these will be defined later.
This step does not create the tournament categories. It only controls access to registration.
You can modify or add organizations at any time before the registration period.
