If your team is participating in a tournament as an external team, i.e., it is not listed on the Spordle platform, you can be linked to this team to manage its tournament line-ups. To do this, the tournament manager must first associate your account, if any, or your e-mail address with the team. Please refer to the relevant documentation for further details.
To manage the alignment of an external team in your Spordle account, please follow the steps below:
External team registration:
Register the external team via the tournament's public page by providing the required information.
Create a Spordle account for line-up management:
The tournament manager can link or create a Spordle account for you.
An invitation will be sent to you to create a Spordle account if you have a new account.
You will be able to access team management from your Spordle account via the Management tab.
Add external team roster:
Once the team is registered, add players and coaches to the line-up, specifying their roles and jersey numbers.
Press Manage
You now have a screen that will allow you to enter members. There is 2 modes :
one by one by default
the grid view that will allow you to copy and paste the data from an excel spreadsheet.
The following information can be added for a new player:
First name *
Last name *
Date of birth *
Gender *
Email
Position Group
Jersey number
Click on Manage.
You can manage the same team in several tournaments or even several external teams. All teams for which you have line-up management rights will appear in the management tab. In addition, several accounts can be associated with the same team.
New members will be automatically transferred to Spordle Play once the team has been approved. Bench staff may be asked to create a Spordle Play account at a later date for the management of game sheets. Creating a Spordle Play account
