Similar to how you can manually register a participant for a hockey season, you can also manually register them to a clinic. To start this process, you must go to the clinic section and find the desired clinic. Once you locate the clinic you want, click on the clinic ID number to get started.

When you click the clinic ID number, you will be taken to the clinic page. You need to click on the Attendees tab to register a participant at this clinic manually.

Now that you are on the Attendees tab, you need to click on the blue +add button.

Once you've pressed the add button, a new box will appear. You can see all the basic information about the clinic as shown in the red box. We also have two ways of searching for our participants: first name, last name, and date of birth or by HCR number.

Once you have entered your search criteria, the system will try to find the participant.

If no participant is found, no results will be available, and you must try again.

If the participant is found, it will be displayed below the search button.

 

Once you've found the participant, a Bypass Restrictions checkbox may appear. This function is active depending on your roles and permissions. This option allows you to register the participant for the clinic even if the member's profile does not meet the clinic prerequisites. The following restrictions will be ignored:

  • Prerequisite validation

  • Age validation

  • Background check validation

  • Member type validation

However, the following elements will not be bypassed:

  • Available places

  • Waiting list restrictions

Note: This permission only applies when a member registers inside HCR. A participant will never be able to bypass the restrictions in place.

Then click on the Select button and go to the next window to choose the date and time of registration. As this is a manual process, you can change the date and time to a date and time in the past.

 Click on Next.

 

We move on to the payment window once we select our date and time. We can select our payment method and move on to the next step.

 

The next step is to answer any questionnaires, waivers, and terms and conditions associated with registering for this clinic. Not all questionnaires, waivers, and terms and conditions will be mandatory or optional. Once we complete this step, we will receive confirmation that the participant has been registered at the clinic.

The participant will receive a copy of the invoice at his email address and in the purchases menu of My Account.

The manual registration process for a clinic is now complete.
