Change a team from competition

In the tournament module, moving an approved team from one competition to another inside the same tournament will now be possible. To do this, the user must access the team menu, select the team to be moved, then use the action button. Then choose the new competition from the drop-down menu.

Note: After the change, the team will be synchronized to the new competition in Spordle Play. The system will also try to delete the team from the previous competition. This will work only if the team is not added to a game in the old competition. If this is not the case, you will need to open a support request so that our technical support team can remove the team.

Registration process of external teams on page

We're releasing an update to improve team registration via the tournament's Spordle page. From now on, it will be mandatory to search for your team by name or ID before you can create an external team. If the system finds a team matching your criteria for the competition category, it will be displayed. The button for registering an external team will appear after the search.

Competition team contact

In this update, the contact information linked to a tournament registration will now be located in a new, more manageable section. Previously, it was only a text display and could not be edited. We now have a set of fields that will store the team's contact information for the competition. These fields are now editable and will be used in the tournament's communication module.

Competition communication

It is now possible to use the Spordle ID communication module to send emails to either team contact or the roster of the teams. From the team management page inside Spordle ID, select the teams you want to communicate with. Them from the Action menu you will have 2 new choices :

• Team contact

• Team roster

From there you will have access to the regular communication window that you will be able to use to trigger your email.
