Once the match is over, the coach or scorekeeper must enter the results, ejections and innings and/or balls thrown in Spordle PLAY, following the steps described below.

This procedure must only be carried out by the local team.

Access to Matches

First you need to access Spordle PLAY. There are two ways to access it:

Spordle PAGE

  •  Through Spordle Page, your league's website at http://page.spordle.com .

    • If you haven't bookmarked your league's schedule, you can search for your league in the Find an organization box.

  • Then click on the Calendar tab

    • Select the match date

    • Select calendar or team name

 

Once you've found your match, click on Game Admin

  • Log in to your account's Profile menu

  • Click on the Schedule tab and click on the desired match line to enter the match profile.

Spordle PLAY

By connecting directly to the Spordle PLAY website at http://play.spordle.com .

  • Log in to your account's Profile menu

  • Click on the Schedule tab and click on the desired match line to enter the match profile.

Tip: don't click on the alignment icon or a blue link, click on the date.

Game Sheet

  • Click on the match sheet tab

Game Summary 

 If the coach is responsible for entering the results, please note that you will be able to see the line-up of both teams once you have ticked your name in the line-up.

If the scorekeeper does this, he or she will have access to both teams.

A blue band with the word COMPLETE will appear in the match summary box.

Points

  • To add team scores, click on Edit score.

 

  •  Enter the score for each team and click Save.

Documents

Click on + Add a document to add the blank sheets required by Baseball Québec:

  • Visitor game sheets

  • Local game sheets

  • Visitor line-up

  • Local line-up

Click on type

  • Match sheet: for alignment sheets

  • Other: for line-up sheets

  • Uploaded files can be PDF or photo files.

  • Enter the name of your document (e.g. Visitor, Receiver, etc.)

  • Click on Save

Team Alignment

 You then enter the number of innings pitched by a player.

You don't need to enter the number of balls thrown; this option will be used for series and tournaments.

  • Click at the bottom of the list of players Modify balls and innings pitched 

  • Indicate the number of innings pitched for each player on both teams.

Complete the Match

  • Once you've completed all the steps, return to the top of the page and, in the blue band, click on Complete.

 

  • Enter the number of innings played

  • Indicate whether the inning began or ended

  • If applicable, tick the items that apply to the home or visiting team.

    • Too many players

    • Not enough players

    • Additional players

    • Players serving a suspension

    • Secondary team players

    • Players missing before the start of the match

    • Suspended players not serving suspension

  • The game sheet will be sent to team personnel, league administrators and game officials. If you wish to send it to another person or e-mail address, click + Add and enter the e-mail address.

  • Once completed, click on Approve at the bottom of the page.

 Note: Expulsions and incident reports will be made by the match referee.
