Once the referee has completed a match, i.e. entered the goals, penalties and incident reports, the league must proceed to homologate the match.

Match notification completed

As soon as the referee has completed the match, the game sheet is automatically sent to the team staff, match officials and league administrators.

The league is thus notified as soon as a match is completed, and will receive this type of e-mail:

Search for matches to homologate

To register your matches, log on to the Spordle Play website and click on Match in the left-hand menu.

To simplify your task and display only the matches that need to be homologated, you can search for matches using the following filters:

  • Match number: if you have only one match to homologate, you can enter the match number.

  • Date: you can add a date range allowing you to homologate only matches that took place during this period.

  • Completed: displays whether or not the referee has completed the match.

  • Certified: allows you to display matches that have not yet been certified.

Icon for matches to be homologated

A flag will appear to the right of the matches to be homologated.

A match with a black check mark indicates that no items have been added, awarded or made during the match.

A match flagged with an exclamation mark indicates that items have been added, awarded or made during that match.

List of red-flag items

General

  • The coach has recorded the results

  • Match not finished

Home or visiting team

  • Too many players

  • Not enough players

  • Additional players

  • Players serving suspension

  • Secondary team players

  • Players missing before the start of the match

  • suspended players not serving a suspension

  • Yellow cards

  • Indirect red card

  • Direct red card

Match homologation without red flag

To homologate matches in batches, tick the matches you wish to homologate in the box to the left of the match and then click on Homologate at the top right of the page.

A window will appear to confirm the homologation of the selected matches. Simply click on Homologate.

Once your matches have been homologated, a blue Report box will appear to the right of the matches.

Click on Report to display the match report.

Match homologation with a red flag

Notification of major penalties

If a major penalty has been awarded during a match, you will receive an e-mail to notify you.

Click on View match sheet to display the match sheet in PDF format in your browser.

Quick view of items to be certified

You can quickly view the elements that need to be homologated for a match with a red flag. To do this, click on the flag icon to open a window showing the homologation elements for this match.

You can either click on Homologate if you wish to proceed with homologation immediately, or close this window and follow the steps below to view the match sheet in detail.

Match sheet tab in PLAY

The list of matches with missing elements that need to be homologated will be displayed with a red flag in Spordle PLAY's Match menu.

Simply click on the match line and on the Match sheet tab to view the details.

In the Summary section, the system will indicate that the match sheet has been completed. However, a yellow stripe will appear in the Homologation section, indicating that the match sheet has not been homologated.

Edit registration elements

You can edit the match homologation by clicking on Edit in the top left-hand corner of the Homologation section.

Make the desired changes and click Save in the top right-hand corner.

Incident report

You can also view, modify or add additional information to the incident report.

Simply click on the desired member and a window will appear, allowing you to make the changes. Don't forget to click Save when you're finished.

Suspension

You can also modify the type of penalty, the member and the number of suspension matches awarded to a player. To do so, simply click on the desired player.

A window will appear allowing you to change the penalty to a yellow card, change the member to whom the penalty has been awarded and change the number of suspension matches to be served.

Certify the match

Une fois toutes les vérifications faites sur un match ayant un drapeau rouge, vous pouvez procéder à son homologation en cliquant sur Homologuer dans la section Homologation de l’onglet Feuille de match.

You can also select all the matches to be homologated from the Match menu list.
