To register for a clinic within your organization, you need to go to your organization’s public page. Here is an example of what the page will look like: https://register.hockeycanada.ca/clinics . Click on the Register Now button to find your desired clinic.

Find Your Clinic: To search for an upcoming clinic, you can enter the clinic number, or click search for a full list.

To refine your search, you can select from the list of Categories, select a date range, and the course format.

When you scroll down, you’ll notice some filter options to locate a clinic. We have four sections:

  • Categories

  • Season

  • Status

  • Session format

Once you have selected a clinic you wish to register for, click on it to get a full list of course details.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once you select you clinic, you will see all of the relevant information. Here is an example of what you will see:

Register for a clinic

Go to the registration link provided by your organization.

Select your clinic, and you can search by selecting the various search fields to your left.

Once you have found your clinic, click on it and then click Register.

If you are not logged in, you will be invited to log in to Spordle My Account.

Note: if you have not created your Spordle My Account, please refer to the My Account - Set-Up documentation. Once you have created your account, you will automatically be directed to step 1 of the course registration process.

 

Complete clinic

The following message will appear if the clinic is complete and the organization has added a waiting list. You can only register on the waiting list without paying the registration fee.

You will receive this message and an email confirming that you are on the waiting list.

If a place becomes available, you'll receive an email to let you know. A link will be available in the email, allowing you to finalize your registration.

If no place becomes available, you will receive an email informing you that no place has become available, including the reason for the organization's refusal. 

 Step 1 - Participant Selection

The system will ask you if you want to Register an existing participant or Register a new participant.

Select one of the two options and then click on Start registration.

Register an Existing Participant

If you select Register an Existing Participant, you can select a member linked to your account or search by member number.

If the member is linked to your account, select him and click Start registration.

To search for a Spordle ID member's profile, click Search Participant.

To search for a member, enter the member's number or first name, last name, and date of birth. Then click on Search.

If the member's profile is displayed, click Select and begin registering.

If you can't find the member, click Create a new member and consult the Register new me participant documentation.

Register a New Participant

If you select and register a new member or have not found the member profile by searching, you must create a Spordle ID member profile.

The system will ask you to enter the participant's first name, last name, and date of birth to ensure that the member's profile does not exist in the database.

Then click on+Add.

 If no Spordle ID profile has been created for the participant, the system will ask you to fill in the member information to create the profile.

Red asterisks (*) means that fields must be completed.

Once completed, click on Create at the bottom of the page.

Step 2 - Completing the Questionnaire

If your organization has created a questionnaire, answer the questions and click Next. Questions marked with a red asterisk (*) must be answered.

If no exemptions are displayed, skip to step 3.

Step 3 - Accept Waivers

Your regional or provincial organization may have selected waivers to sign. You must sign them and click Next.

If no waivers are displayed, skip to step 4.

Step 4 - Registration Summary

A summary of your registration and the amount to be paid will be displayed, and you must click Next to continue your registration.

Step 5 - Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions added by your organization will be displayed, and you must check the I have read and accept the terms and conditions box to continue your registration.

Then click on Next.

Step 6 - Select Payment Method

Select the desired payment method from those displayed.

Note : The full course fee must be paid by the participant in order to access the external course content.

If you are paying by credit card, you will be taken to a page to where you can fill out in your credit card informationdetails.

If you pay with a manual form of paymentmanually, you will be taken to the next step, which confirms your registration for the clinic.

If your organization has added an attachment to your clinic, it will be displayed on this confirmation page. Click on Click to download.

7 - Confirmation Email

You will receive a copy of the clinic information Clinic Information and a copy of the invoice as well as in the purchases section in your account dashboard. If the “My Account” has not been set up at the time of the manual registration, the transaction will not show up in the purchases section. This will be linked once an account is created for the parent.

Step 8 - Accessing the Clinic

My Account Home Page

Your course will appear under the Events box on the Spordle My Account home page. Click on Details to access the clinic.

My Account Calendar Page

If you select the Calendar menu in Spordle My Account, the clinic you are registered for will appear in the calendar.

Click on the clinic to open the pop-up window with the clinic information and link.
