If you are a top organization, you have access to change the organization to manage your lower organizations from the tree or the drop-down list.

Managing permissions as an administrator at any level of the organization

When you are situated at a higher level in the organization tree of HCR3.0, you have the possibility of accessing the organization at the lower level or creating yourself as a user with permissions in the organization below.

Option 1 – Connecting using a card

The first way to connect to an organization is to click on the card at the top of the dashboard. In doing so, the system will pick up the permissions that are set up for your user id under the organization selected. This means that, if you are an Branch admin at the Hockey Canada level, you will only have access to the rights associated with this role.

For example, if your lower organization rights do not permit updating a user’s permission, you will not be able to do it at that level.

Also, when selecting a lower organization, the system does not allow you to update your own rights.

Option 2 – Connecting by selecting an organization

The second option is to use the Select an Organization drop-down to manage an organization. By doing so, you will maintain the permissions with which you were logged in.
