Access to clinic content

A new feature has been introduced, requiring members to pay the full clinic fee to access external content. The goal is to ensure that the organization hosting the clinic has received the full amount before members can access external content (Moodle).

This week, we're introducing an important update: members will now need to pay the clinic fee in full to gain access to external content.

If the clinic accepts payment methods other than credit cards, hosts must confirm that the payment has been fully received before users can access the clinic's content.

Saving the start and end date of a clinic

We added a function to save a clinic's start and end date with external content (Moodle). Previously, the system used the participation date to save the date the member started the clinic. From now on, the system will record the start date (first click on external content) and end date (when the qualification is added to the profile) in new fields. This modification will allow you to control attendance if you have external content and on-site training courses. It will also enable you to create statistics on the time needed to complete a piece of content.

These dates will also be displayed in the training participant's report.

My Account - Delete credit card

We've added functionality that will allow a parent to delete a credit card from their Spordle account. It will now be possible for a parent to go to My Account Spordle, select a card in their profile, and delete it. This will only be possible if the card is not being used for one of the next installments.

The procedure for modifying a card for future installments has also been improved to make things easier for parents.

These functions work in the same way for Sportspay and Paysafe.

Registration fee update

In this update, we're changing the way we allow a user to update registration fees. Too many rules and validations in the registration fee details make it difficult to manage in the side panel.

When you click on Edit next to a field (the little blue pencil), the system displays a form instead of allowing online modification of that field. The form displayed is the same as for creating registration fees, and it will scroll to the field you want to modify.

You can also access the Edit button and a choice of modification options in the menu at the top of the form.

This feature allows us to better control the validation and error messages on pages with extensive business logic.

Improve the picture management in Play (Soccer Québec only)

An update will be released to improve the use members'rs' photos in Spordle Play. Previously, the photo was not cropped as in Spordle ID but displayed completely in Play. Some photos were too large and slowed down the display speed in Play. We have now optimized and created thumbnails that are cropped as in Spordle ID and are now displayed in Spordle Play. This will facilitate the member validation process in Spordle Play.
