Requesting Game Changes

When enabled, teams can request changes to games which must be approved by all required parties in order for the changes to take place.

To enable requests, go to the schedule settings games tab and enable Reschedule Requests, and then select the Required Reschedule Approvals from the dropdown.

You can do the settings for the requests game changes in the office setting or directly in the schedule settings.

To request changes to a game, go to a game and click . A dialog will open where you can change the surface, date, start/end times, and game comment.

You must provide a reason for the request, which will only be visible to the required approvers and will not be displayed publicly.

Submitting a request will automatically approve any approvals where you have permissions to manage. Once submitted, you will now see the game request in the Draft Updates section.

Game requests will have an Approvals button, which when clicked will open a dialog where you can view the status of all approvals, and manage the ones you have access to.

Clicking accept or decline will pop up a confirm dialog where you will see the requested changes.

You can optionally leave a comment on your approval, which will be displayed for all other approvers to see.

You can always go back and change your response and/or update your comments if need be.

Response Scenarios

  • The first decline on a request will mark the draft update as cancelled.

  • The last approve on a request will automatically publish the requested changes and reschedule the game.

All approvals must be approved in order for the request to be accepted and reschedule the game with the new changes.

Notifications

Every 5 minutes, an email notification will be sent to all required approvers for newly created game requests.
