New Features

Change status action

As we are introducing new status, we have updated the action button on the member profile to keep only one action to change the status. You will now see a button Change status in the Action button.

This new action button will now include all the available status for that member based on the different workflow of the platform.

You will no longer see a button Confirm profiles, all will be inside the change status button.

Temporarily ineligible status

A new Temporarily Ineligible status is now added to HCR and will be available for :

  • Administrator

  • HC Sport Safety Admin

  • Branch Admin

This new status will be used for :

  1. Disciplinary sanctions for maltreatment behaviours that are not permanent, levied by
    any level of the system.

  2. Profiles that have been flagged as ‘ongoing criminal charges’ based on media articles or other information.

When the profile will be set to Temporarily ineligible, an expiration date will be set on the status. At that date, the system will automatically reset the profile to the previous status. As the profile is set to the Temporarily Ineligible a notification will be sent to the registrar. A notification will also be sent when the profile is returned to the previous status.

A member set to Temporarily ineligible will be blocked for registration , transfer and will not be allowed on a team. If the member was already on a team when the profile is set to Temporarily Ineligible, the status of the member will be changed to Ineligible on the team. The status of the team will not be updated.

Suspended status

A new suspended status is now available in the platform to track players that are suspended. When a user of the HCR adds a suspension in the suspension module, the system will flag the player as suspended. A suspended participants still needs to be able to be transferred, registered, and rostered, BUT their roster status should read “Suspended/Blocked”.

When adding a suspension inside the platform, the registrar will be able to set an expiration date for the suspended participant that automatically reverts their status back to the previously held status. This is so users don’t need to keep track of this end date separately.  A notification is also sent to the registrar at that date.

Drag and drop rostering module

We are launching a new module that will allow to create your roster with drag and drop features. A new button will now appear on the team page called Rostering.

image-20240911-100131.png

When you click on it, the system will ask you to select the division and categories that you want to use. You will them be able to pick one or multiple teams you want to use for rostering. Once you select them, the system will show you on the left all the players that are available for the category and a column for each of the teams you have selected. From there , you can drag and drop a player from the left to any of the teams to build your roster.

The data is saved as soon as you drop a player on a team. All the validations are applied right away based on your team restrictions.

This is an additional feature to help registrar build their teams faster. You can go from one to the other at any time.

In that first version, we are allowing only the players to be dragged and dropped but we will continue to work on that module to allow the coach to be rostered the same way.

We would love to get your feedback on this new feature, feel free to send us your feedback in the ticket system.
