Depending on your organization, the assigning officials will assign officials to officiate games. However, an official may have the ability to search for games and request to officiate them. An official will only be able to search for games that take place in their association and in the specified locations, as well as those for which the refereeing requirement levels are met.
(Example. A Level 1 referee will not be able to see games that require a Level 2 or higher referee).
NOTE: Your organization may have restricted this access by not allowing officials to request game referees. Check with your organization.
To find a match, click on the Matches tab in the left menu.
All upcoming matches for your organization and locations will be displayed.
You have the ability to search for matches using specific criteria to find the matches that best suit you by selecting the search filters on the left.
Matches that do not yet have an assigned referee will be shown to the left of the match line in an icon indicating the number of referees yet to be assigned.
Matches that have all referees assigned will be indicated on the left of the match line with a green check mark in the icon.
To select a match you wish to request to referee, click on the icon at the end of the match line.
A pop-up window will appear with information about the match, click on Referee to open the tab. A message will appear indicating that you are qualified to referee the match and that you are available at the time and place of the match.
Click on Request at the bottom right.
A window will appear asking you to confirm your request. You will be able to enter a note for the assignors. Click on Request and the request will be sent to the assignors.
If your assignor accepts your request, you will receive a confirmation email. You will also receive an email in the case of a refusal.
