Dreams Come True

Log onto HCR, and select your role. Confirm you are logged into Hockey Canada, if not, click on change organization, and select Hockey Canada from the tree. 

 

Questionnaire:

  • From the menu, click on Catalog, then select Questionnaires from the list of options under the Legal and Forms section

  • Click Add.

  • Use the blue pencil to edit the name of your questionnaire

  • Enter a section title

  • Click on the icons on the right hand side to add a question, add a new section (if needed) or to clone a question

    • Questions can be set up for short or long answers, simple or multiple selection, checkboxes, radio button, date, time, or number selection.

    • Questions can be set as required (optional)

  • Once you have added the sections and questions, click Create.

 

Waivers:

  • From the menu, click on Catalog, then select Waivers from the list of options under the Legal and Forms section

  • Click Add. Once you have completed the waiver, click Save. 

  • Add a title and information in the description section of your waiver

  • Optional - you can set up wording for the Confirmation & Decline - by default, the wording for accepting the waiver will be - I have read and accepted the waiver. Note: if a waivers is not set to mandatory, by default, an option to skip waivers will be added as a choice when answering

  • Click on Preview to review your waiver

  • Your waivers can be Mandatory or Critical:

    • Mandatory: A response must be provided for the waiver at the time of registration

    • Critical: A response must be provided to be added on a team

  • Once you are content with your waiver, you can click the blue add button at the bottom. 

Note: to copy and paste wording into the description, please use Ctrl C & Ctrl V - using your mouse to copy and paste will not work. 

 

Terms and Conditions:

  • From the menu, click on Catalog, then select Terms and Conditions from the list of options under the Legal and Forms section

  • Click Add. Add a title and information in the description section

  • Click on Active, then click Save. 

Note: to copy and paste wording into the description, please use CtrlC & Ctrl V - using your mouse to copy and paste will not work.

 

Registration Fees:

  • From the menu, click on Catalog, then select Registration Fees from the list of options under the  Products and services section

  • Clicking +Add , then select create a fee

  • Member Type -select Dreams Come True

  • Set your fee to Active 

  • Select the Division

  • Leave Category blank

  • Type in the name for the fee

  • Put a checkmark in the box - Exclude all Fees

  • Enter $0 in for regular fees

  • Select a questionnaires - note you only select one questionnaire

  • Select waivers - you can select All, or choose from the list of waivers

  • Click Add

 

Other Items (optional):

  • From the menu, click on Catalog, then select Other Items from the list of options under the  Products and services section

  • Click Add

  • Enter a name for the item

  • Add a description and picture (optional)

  • Enter a fee, then click Add

Online Store:

  • From the menu, click on Manage, then select Online Registration

  • Click on create a new online store which is located to the right of the page.

There are four steps to complete the set up of an online registration store:

  • General information

  • Items and fees

  • Terms and conditions, discounts and payment

  • Review

General information

In this section, select the language, add a name for your online store and the registrar's email address, you can check the box "Send an email to each registration" to receive an email when a member registers. Then, set the start and end dates and times of the registration. You can also add a confirmation message (optional). Click Next to proceed to step 2.

Items and fees

Here you will be able to select registration fees and items that were set up in the Catalog section by clicking  +Add. Click on Next to get to step 3.

Terms and conditions, discounts and payment

Select the terms and conditions (required) and the discounts that apply to this registration by using the dropdown menus. If you allow for credit card payments, choose your merchant account, and check off the available payment options.  Click Next to get to step 4.

Review

Verify that all the information you’ve entered for the online store is set up correctly and click Create Online Store at the bottom of the page.

 

Once your store is created, click on the store to open it, and use the drop down to set your store to Active 

Share the Online Store

Sharing an online store will allow another organization's members to make purchases from it.

 

Reports

  • From the menu, click on Reports, then select Dashboard to open the reports module. 

Branch Report: 

  • Click on Branch report

  • Click the Action button, and select Go to Detailed report

  • Under Child Organizations, click on the tree

  • Select the host branch organizations

  • Then click Close

  • Under Divisions, choose the age groups for the DCT

  • Under Member Type choose Dreams Come True

  • Click Search

  • Click Export then click Excel

Questionnaire Report:

  • Under Forms, select the Dreams Come True

  • Click Search

  • Click Export then click Excel
