Drag and drop roastering

This module, used exclusively by associations, lets you quickly drag and drop players into a team, while viewing several teams side by side.

To access this module, you must first have completed the rotation or creation of your teams for the current season.

 

Steps to access roastering

  • Go to the management menu and select the team tab

  • Click on "Roastering" in the top right-hand corner, in a blue square.

  • Select teams:

    • Season*: Selects the season for which team composition is used.

    • Division * : Select the desired division for team roastering.

    • Category * : Selects the category according to the chosen division.

The teams created will be displayed, and you can deselect them if necessary.

  • Select position:

    • Position group *: This module is for players only.

    • Position * : Allows you to select the positions previously chosen by the branches.

This will be used as the default position when adding a player. It is possible to modify a player's position after assigning him to a team, according to the position set.

 

 

Points to remember when dragging and dropping players into the desired team

Team restrictions are validated in the same way as adding members directly in a team roaster.

The left-hand column shows the members to be assigned to a team, while the selected teams appear in the other columns.

 

The chosen category and position are shown in the top left-hand corner. Click on the blue pencil to start a new search.

There are 3 display modes:

  • Compact : Gives you a better overview.

  • Full: Provides a view that displays all information.

  • Full screen: Enhanced view.

 

Team action:

  • Move left or move right: Moves the order of selected teams.

  • See profile: Opens the team profile in a new window.

  • Team restrictions: Displays team restrictions, if any.

  • Remove: Removes the team from the team list in roastering. This will not delete the team from your organization, but will hide it in the module.

  • Open in quick view: Opens a quick profile overview of players added to the team.

 

 

Player action :

  • Add to a team: Adds the player directly to a selected team.

  • Change position: Changes the starting position.

  • Remove from team: Removes the player from the team to which he has been added. This is based on your role permissions, and some users may not have access.

  • Open in quick view: Opens the player's profile for a quick preview.

 

Method for dragging and dropping players into the chosen team

When members are dragged into a team, they disappear from the member column. You can remove a member from a team by clicking on the three dots, then selecting "Remove from team". The member will then reappear in the member column.
