The registration fee represents the amount required for a player to play hockey in a specific division of a season.
Create a new Registration Fee
Start by clicking +Add, then click Create a fee.
Member Type
Select a member type for your registration - available options are: player, official, bench staff or volunteer.
Active or Inactive
By setting a fee to inactive, no registrations can be made for this option.
Available Places
This is optional - if used, you can limit the number of registrations for that division.
Wait List
This is optional - once the available spots are filled, players can register for the wait list. No money will be charged at the time of wait list registration.
You can increase the registration limit, But all the registrations on the waiting list must have been cleared (accepted or cancelled). If members are left in Pending on the waitlist, future registrations will be added to the waiting list.
Show remaining Spots
This is optional, and only offered if you have set the number of available places. - the online registration will show how many spots are currently available for that division.
Ask for position
By checking this box, the member's position will be requested upon registration.
Division
Set the division for the fee. Only members within that age group will be able to register for that category. Note: for team staff registration, use SR (senior) for the division.
Category
You are able to see the age range according to the selected division
If you select the U21 division and accept 21 year old players, you must select the category U21 (18 to 21 years old-Mixed) in order for 21 year old players to be able to register in your online store.
Registration Name
Enter the Registration Name. You can use the suggested name, by clicking on the blue name.
Activity Period
You can select an activity period for you fee. By default, if no activity period is defined, the fee will be available for the regular season.
Exclude membership fees
You can use this feature for registrations you do not want the membership fee applied to - example: bench staff, or tryouts.
Registration Fee
Enter the fee amount - the amount displayed in the box, is the amount the parent will pay.
Early and Late Fee:
If you are adding this fee option, enter the amount you want to change and the date (early bird fee, add the date that is ends on, and the late fee, add the date for it to start on). The early and late fee amount must be the total fee amount:
For example, your regular fee is $300.00, a $50.00 discount is given to early registration, and $100.00 is added to late registration. Your fees should be entered as follows:
Regular fee: $300.00
Early registration fee: $250.00
Late fee: $400.00
Questionnaires
If you have created a questionnaire, you can select from the drop down, and attach one questionnaire. Any questionnaires added by Hockey Canada or your branch, will automatically be added to the fee. (if required)
Waivers
If you have created waivers, you can select from the down down a waivers, or select All. Waivers added by Hockey Canada or your branch, will automatically be added to the fee.
Installments
If you have created installments, you can select from the drop down, and attach one installment option.
Rollover of Registration Fees
You can rollover registration fees from a previous season. To do this, you must be in the season where the fees are to be imported.
Click on on +Add, then select Rollover.
From the Pervious Season drop down, select the season your want to copy from, then click Search.
Select the division to copy, or click on Select all
Click Next
If you fees include early or late fee configuration, you can click on the gear to edit the dates before you import the fees to the new season. Click Create to complete the rollover to the new season.
The registration fee rollover is now complete, click Close and the fees for the new season will be displayed.
Duplicate a Fee
Once you have one fee set up, you can use the option of Duplicate a fee. This will copy the fee options, and you can edit the division, name, available places etc.
To Duplicate a fee, click on the line that you want to copy from, opening the side panel. From the Actions button, click Duplicate.
Edit Registration Fees
To make changes to a fee, click on a row and the side panel will open. There will be two tabs - Fee and Catalog.
Fee Tab
From the Fee tab you can edit the following information:
Fee name
Status
Total places
Waiting list (if a number of places is set)
Show remaining places (if a number of places is set)
Ask for position
Activity period
Regular fee
Early fee with date
Late fee with date
Use the blue pencil to make any edits.
Catalog Tab
Waivers added to this division by Hockey Canada, your provincial branch and your regional organization will be displayed.
From the Catalog tab you can modify the following information:

Delete a Registration Fee
To delete a registration fee, the fee can not have a registration applied it it. From the Action button, select Delete.
