Suspension management

Introduction

The Suspension Management module in Spordle PLAY is designed to simplify and centralize the monitoring and administration of player and coaches suspensions. This tool enables you to manage suspensions efficiently, ensuring compliance with current regulations and facilitating communication between the various stakeholders.

  • Centralized suspension tracking: View and update all current and past suspensions for each member.

  • Create and manage suspensions: Add new suspensions by specifying the reason, duration and application dates.

  • Automated notifications: Receive alerts for suspensions to be applied, and automatically inform those concerned.

  • Suspension history: View a member's suspension history to get an overview of his or her disciplinary history.

This module is essential to ensure the fair and transparent management of suspensions, enabling associations and leagues to improve their compliance and efficiency in monitoring disciplinary sanctions.

Suspension management depends on the administrative roles assigned. Super administrator, administrator and league manager roles can manage suspensions, while assignment managers, officials and coaches only have access to view suspensions.

How to change a suspension's purge team

An option is available to add a purge team to a suspension. This feature allows suspensions to be extended when a player changes teams or moves from one season to another.

  • At the start of a new season, the league manager can view current suspensions and update the team for the new season.

  • This option is also available if the member is registered with more than one team in the same season, and the league manager agrees that he should serve his suspension with the other team.

  • Then select the member whose suspension you wish to have served in a new team.

  • Go to modify suspension

  • Select the additional team to purge the suspension.

  • The teams in which the member has been added will be indicated here.

  • Please select the team where the member will serve the suspension.

  • Click Save

Suspension notifications

  • An automatic notification is sent to the league manager, member and coach when the game is completed or sanctioned, according to the parameters previously defined by the league.

  • It is possible to change the source of notifications according to the administrative roles you have. Just go to the member's profile and find "Notification source" under "Summary".
