Similar to how you can manually register a participant for a hockey season, you can also manually register them to a clinic. To start this process, you must go to the clinic section and find the desired clinicClinic. Once you locate the clinic Clinic you want, you can click on the clinic ID number to get started.

Register a participant

Click on the Attendees tab to manually register a participant to for this clinicClinic.

Now that you are on the attendees tab, you need to click on the blue “+add button.

Once you press the add button, a new box will appear. We can see all the basic information about the clinic as indicated in the green box. We also have two ways to search for our participant as indicated by the red and purple arrows.

You can search for the desired participant in two ways:

  1. First name, last name, and date of birth

  2. Member Number

If no participant is found, no results will be available, and you must try again.

Once you find 've found the participant, you can click on the “Select” button and move onto the next window to select our a Bypass Restrictions checkbox may appear. This function is active depending on your roles and permissions. This option allows you to register the participant for the Clinic even if the member's profile does not meet the clinic prerequisites. The following restrictions will be ignored:

  • Prerequisite validation

  • Age validation

  • Background check validation

  • Member type validation

However, the following elements will not be bypassed:

  • Available places

  • Waiting list restrictions

Note: This permission only applies when a member registers inside HCR. A participant will never be able to bypass the restrictions in place.

Then click on the Select button and go to the next window to choose the date and time of registration. Since As this process is a manual process, we you can change the date and time to a past date and time such as yesterday.

The participant will receive a copy of the invoice in your email as well as in the purchases section in your account dashboard. If the “My Account” has not been set up at the time of the manual registration, the transaction will not show up in the purchases section. This will be linked once an account is created for the parent.

Batch registration

If you wish to register multiple participants in a batch, in the Participant tab, click on +Add and select Multiple Add.

You must add members by member number. Add the number of lines corresponding to the number of members you wish to add by clicking +Add.

Member numbers can be copy/Paste from a list in an Excel document. Go to your Excel document, select the members you wish to add, and press CTRL+C.

Return to the Spordle ID clinic page and press CTRL+V in the 1st box for member numbers.

Then click on Validate so that the system can validate whether members are eligible to register for this Clinic.

Ineligible members will be indicated with a red circle on the right and highlighted in red.

You can delete a member by clicking the red X on the right.
