When a player has started his season with a Club and has taken to the field but wants to request a change of Club, a request for permanent release must be made. The following procedure must be followed to release the player.
Request a permanent release
The organization wishing to release a player must follow the following procedure:
Access the member's profile.
Click on the Action button and then select Release Request.
A window will allow you to select from the drop-down menu the organization for which the player will be released.
The system will confirm that the request has been submitted successfully.
A Pending Release Request notification will be displayed on the player's profile.
Approval process
The release request will be processed according to the following procedure:
If both clubs involved in the release are from the same region, approval will be made by the region only.
If the two clubs involved in the release are not from the same region, approval will be given by the region releasing the member, and then Soccer Quebec will approve the request.
Note: If the ARS and Soccer Quebec have activated notifications, they will receive a message informing them that a request for release has been made.
