Changing a participant's status to temporarily ineligible can be done by users with the following roles: Administrator, HC Sport safety admin and Branch admin.
Change status to temporarily ineligible
Go to member profile
Action menu top right
Choose change status
Go down and choose temporarily ineligible
Expiry date * : The expiration date is mandatory. Once this date has passed, the member's status automatically reverts to its initial status.
Reason for change of status *:
Criminal charge(s) : Hockey Canada or a member has evidence or documentation that a person has been convicted of a criminal offence that renders him or her ineligible.
Autre:
Disciplinary sanction : This is a possible outcome of the Complaints and Discipline Policy.
Imposing organization * :
Notes * : Enter a more detailed explanation of the reason for the change to temporarily ineligible status.
This change of status blocks all activities on the platform:
Registration
Transfer
Being added to a team roaster
Clinic registration
If the player is already on a team:
Team status changes to draft if approved
Participant status changes to ineligible in red.
The change in status is visible in the member's profile, along with a note that is also displayed in the member's profile.
This note is only visible to users who have permission to make these status changes..
When the status changes to temporarily ineligible, a notification is sent to branch admin and HC sport safety. When status change returns to initial status; a notification is sent to users.
If the temporarily ineligible status is to be extended or stopped, simply select Change ineligibility expiry date from the action menu in the member's profile. You'll also notice that several actions are now grayed out because the status has been changed to temporarily ineligible.
