League - Team approval management

 

Team registration for a tournament must be managed in Spordle ID, using the following 2 methods:

 

It is possible to change the status of a team in a competition from “Approved” to “Pending” or “Declined”. If the competition is linked to Spordle Play, the change will be synchronized on Spordle Play, provided if no game is associated with the team.

Manage approval of individual teams:

  • Click on the Management menu and select Teams

  • The Teams page will display the following information:

    • The number of teams awaiting approval, approved and rejected.

      • By clicking on the Approved, Pending or Declined box, teams with this status will be displayed in your team list.

    • You can also filter by the following options:

      • Organization: if you want to search for teams from a specific organization

      • Competition: you can search for teams by competition class

      • Status: you can search by team approval status

  • To change a team's status, select the desired team to open the right-hand side panel.

  • Click on Manage approval

  • A pop-up window will appear, asking you to select Reject or Approve.

  • If you wish to refuse a team's request to join your team, click on Refuse.

  • Enter the reason for refusal.

  • The team will receive an e-mail notifying them that they have not been accepted into the tournament.

  • If you wish to approve a team's application to join your team, click on Approve.

  • In the note you can indicate important information relating to the team, e.g. payment received, etc.

Manage batch team approval

  • Click on the Management menu and select Teams

  • The Teams page will display the following information:

    • The number of teams awaiting approval, approved and rejected

      • By clicking on the Approved, Pending or Declined box, teams with this status will be displayed in your team list.

  • You can select more than one team.

  • A side panel opens to manage batch approval.

 

  • Approval is managed in the same way as individually. See the steps described above.

  • You will see the selected teams one by one, and will have to manage their approval.
