With this tool, you can create News feeds on the home page of your site.

While navigating on the home page, users can click on the image and be redirected to the article.

Creating a publication

1. Click on Compose.

2. Choose News as the publication type.

3. Choose a publication date.

Choose the date and time you wish your news to be published. The news will visible on your site on the date you selected. You can click Now to publish it immediately.

4. Enter your publication’s title.

5. Choose your visual identifier.

Please note

* The visual identifier is the image that will appear on your site home page. It is important to have a good quality image and to respect the following sizes:

Click on Upload a visual identifier.

6. Select your image.

*Double click on the video to switch to fullscreen.

7. Click on Upload.

* Select a part of your image by clicking and holding the right mouse button.

8. Click on Save.

Please note

To respect copyright, you can add the name or contact information of a professional photographer.

Enter the source of your news (optional) when you take an entire article from a sports newspaper or another website.

The source automatically appears at the bottom of your article.

Users will be able to click on the link and be redirected to the source website’s page.

Enter the name of the source.

Copy the URL address of the website.

Adding text and visual content to your publication

Please note

The visual presentation of your content public version (website) may vary depending on the initial theme of your site.

The theme is normally chosen throughout the site’s creation. If you would like to change the theme of your site, please send us a request at the following address: support@spordle.com or via your customer account.

The content editor is comparable to any Word processing software and the functionalities are similar.

Please note

You must use the Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V keys to copy/paste text directly from another website or software.

The formatting (fonts, colours) of the text you copy will automatically be deleted.

Use the options in the Formats tab or in the editor's menu bar to change the format of your text.

*Double click on the video to switch to fullscreen.

Once you finish adding your content don't forget to save your work.

Saving a draft

A draft of each of your news will automatically be saved in the system.

To consult your drafts or to continue writing one of your publications, click on Drafts.
