Reset password or change email address
It is possible to reset the password or e-mail address you use to log in to Spordle PLAY. This function is only available to SuperAdmin users.
Note : Spordle will not reset account passwords for any user. We invite you to contact your organization, which will be able to make the change.
Reset password or change e-mail address for an existing Play account.
Click on the People menu on the left.
Then search for the participant whose password you wish to reset or whose e-mail address you wish to change, using the participant's first and last name, along with the member number or e-mail address of the account.
Once you've found the participant you're looking for, click on it.
In the Participant Profile Summary tab, scroll down to the Account box.
Click on the arrow to the right to expand the information in this area.
The e-mail address for the Spordle PLAY user account will be shown in blue on the left. Click on it.
A new window will appear, click on Edit in the top right-hand corner.
If you wish to change the participant's e-mail address, it is not necessary to reset the password. Simply leave the password field blank. On the other hand, if you wish to reset the password, you can enter it in the field provided.
Click on Save.
Now that the change is complete, you can ask the participant to log in with the new e-mail address and the same or new password. If the participant has forgotten their password, you can ask them to click on Forgotten password to retrieve it.
Reset a Play account password via MyAccount
Click on the People menu on the left.
Then search for the participant whose password you wish to reset or whose e-mail address you wish to change, using the participant's first and last name, along with the member number or e-mail address of the account.
When the Play account is associated with MyAccount, a blue link will appear next to the e-mail address, indicating that it is linked to MyAccount.
Once you've found the participant you're looking for, click on it.
In the Participant Profile Summary tab, scroll down to the Account box.
Click on the arrow to the right to expand the information in this area.
The e-mail address for the Spordle PLAY user account will be shown in blue on the left. Click on it.
Click on reset password
Enter the new password and press reset.
The password you enter will be temporary and valid for 14 days. The participant will need to change it after logging in to their Spordle account.
