Zones Tabs

This module allows organizations to create groupings (zones) within the organizations in their organizational tree. Adding multiple organizations to a zone allows members of the selected organizations and divisions to be registered in a zone team roster without making releases or transfers.

Note: This is not the creation of a league, but a grouping of several organizations allowing to add players in a team of this zone.

Example

  • A zone is created for the Outaouais Girl's Association

  • In this zone, we add the organizations of Aylmer, Hull, and Gatineau, as well as the U9 division

  • The U9 players of the three organizations will be able to be added to a team created in the zone called the Outaouais Women's Association without the need for a transfer or a release.

  • Players will still be associated with their primary organizations.

It is possible to use this feature at all levels (provincial and regional).

Here is the procedure to follow to create a zone:

  • On the Zones tab, click on Add

Select parent organization (required)

  • Enter the name of your zone (required)

  • Enter the usual name

  • Enter the abbreviation of your zone name (required)

  • Enter the address of your zone (required)

  • Click on Next

  • Select all organizations that should be added to your zone

  • Select the divisions

  • Click on Next

  • The last step is optional and will allow you to assign a registrar to manage this zone.

At the end of the process, a new structure will be created.

The side panel will display the organizations in your zone by clicking on your zone.

Since a higher parent organization creates the zone, you can see the organizations in your structure in read-only mode when you log in at the zone level. The higher parent organization must make any changes.

You can link teams to the zone and create teams when using the zone. The system will allow you to add players to the team roster without any transfer, sharing, or release.

To add a team to a zone, you must change its organization according to the following procedure:

  • Go to the organization of the team you want to add to your zone

  • Open the team and click on the Action button on the top right

  • Select Transfer Team Organization

  • Select the area where you want to add the team

  • Click on Next

  • The team will then be moved to the selected zone

The organization will be modified in the team information

Make sure you have included your team's organization in your zone. Otherwise, your zone will not display.

You can rotate your structures from season to season, so you don't have to do this work every season.

Note: If you need support creating zones and moving teams, please create a support ticket from the Help Center so we can help you structure your zones.
