Team management

 

As team staff, you must confirm the lineup of your players and coaches at the start of each game. These steps must be done in Spordle PLAY. If, as a coach, you do not yet have access to Spordle PLAY, please refer to the documentation and video on How to create my account in Spordle PLAY.

 

 

 

Select a team

To access your team, go to the Teams tab, then click on the team you want to manage.

 

 

 

Summary Tab

Team information

Team information such as Logo, Team ID, Season, Category, and Office will be displayed on the Summary tab. If you click on Edit Team or Edit in the top right-hand corner, you can modify only your team's logo according to your roles and permissions.

If you have access to Spordle ID, click on Open in Spordle ID to access the team roster in ID.

 

Availability

Penalties

The Penalties section lets you see all the penalties given to your team.

You can filter penalties by Participant or Penalty Category by clicking Add Filter at the top of the page.

 

Reports

In the Reports section, you can generate the following reports for your team:

  • Team Penalties

  • Team Scoring

  • Team AP

  • Team Assignments

This section can be extended by clicking the four arrows in the top right-hand corner.

Roster Tab

The list of players and bench staff will be displayed. In this section, you can manage each player on the list to add or modify a jersey number, change the position, or indicate the team captain.

Note: you cannot make changes to bench personnel.

 

Spordle ID manages all the information in your team roster; we suggest you not use the Add Member, Import, and Import Profile buttons to avoid creating duplicates in your team. For any changes to your team, please contact your local registrar.

 

To modify a player's information, click on the player's line.

Note: Do not click the blue link, which will take you to the member's profile.

 

 

Make the changes to the player, then click on SAVE.

 

Schedule Tab

 Schedules & Contacts

The Schedules & Contacts section will display the bench staff contacts of the teams you play against and those of the league.

 

Select the schedule you require and click on the arrow to the left of it.

 

All contacts for all teams on this schedule will be displayed.

 

 

Schedule

The Schedule section displays all your team's games, practices, and activities.

Multiple filters are available, allowing you to search for a game, a practice, or a team activity.

  • You can search by date range by entering the start and end dates.

  • You can search for games by number or by completed games by clicking on Add Filter.

  • By clicking on the three small dots on the right, the following filter options will be available:

    • Group games by date

    • Show more game info

    • Show assignments (disponible selon votre rôle et permission)

    • Show flags

 

  • Teams and administrators can also add a team activity that does not occur in an arena, such as a dinner, a team meeting, a starting time for a tournament, etc.

 

You can add a practice to the team from this section, depending on your roles and permissions.

 

Settings Tab

This section is accessible according to your roles and permissions. It allows you to identify the rink used by this team, the roles granted to it, and notification management for this team only.

 

Rink

You can add the home rink this team will be used when creating the schedule.

Click on Edit Home Rinks.

In the next window, click +Add and find the rink you want to add. Then, enter the days and the start and end times when this rink is available for this team.

You can add multiple rinks by clicking +Add.

When you've finished, click Save.

 

Roles

In this section, you can only add administrative roles to grant access to this team.

To do so, click on + Add Role.

 

Next, enter the participant's name and the role you want to assign. You can add an expiry date to this person's role; this is optional.

When finished, click on Save.

 

Notifications

In this section, you can view who receives notifications for this team and add notifications to a team member.

To do so, click on + Add Notification.

 

You must then search for the member who will receive the notifications.

Activate the notifications you want this person to receive by sliding the toggle button of the following options :

  • Schedule

    • An email will be sent if any game changes occur in the last hour.

  • Activities

    • An email is sent when there are new or updated activities for this team.

  • Assigning

    • An email is immediately sent when an assignment is declined → Assigners, not team members, use this Notification.

  • Game Reports

    • The game report is sent after the end of the game.

  • Major Penalties

    • Scoresheets with major penalties will be sent out after the end of the game.

  • Draft Sharing

    • An email is sent when access to a draft has been shared → Schedulers, not team members, use this Notification.

When finished, click on Save.
