Temporarily Ineligible Members

Introduction

The temporarily ineligible status allows a user with permission to temporarily restrict certain platform functions. The restrictions in place are the same as for an ineligible member, i.e. :

  • Do not allow registration;

  • Do not allow transfer;

  • Do not allow addition to a team book.

This status should be used in the case of temporary sanctions related to a complaint or when the member is under criminal investigation. The advantage of this status is that it has an expiry date and will automatically revert to the original status. It is also possible, depending on permissions, to return the member to original status at any time.

Changing a participant's status to temporarily ineligible can be done by users with the following roles: Administrator, HC Sport safety admin and Branch admin.

This change of status blocks all activities on the platform:

  • Registration

  • Transfer

  • Being added to a team roster

  • Clinic registration

If the player is already on a team:

  • Team status changes to draft if approved

The change in status is visible in the member's profile, along with a note that is also displayed in the member's profile.

This note is only visible to users who have permission to make these status changes..
