VIDEO - ADDING A SPORDLE PLAY USER
Â
To set up a new user in Spordle Play, follow these steps:
Click on People from the left menu
Enter the name of the user or enter their member number ID

The system will search the Spordle Play database for possible games. You can click on the user's name, add a role if a game is found, and continue with step 6.

If no game is found, you can add a new member by clicking on +CREATE
Note: New users may have an existing profile in Spordle ID (HCR) but have not been created in Spordle Play

Enter the participant's first and last name or ID number only if known; otherwise, leave this space blank. Click on SAVE.
Â
From the member's profile, you can add a role for the user. Click on Administrator Roles, then click on +ADD ROLE.

Select the Role from the drop-down and the Office that the user will have access for

Adding a Category is optional. If no category is selected, the participant can access all categories. Do not set an expiration date; we will manage this differently in the future.

Click Save

Note: Each organization should assign one or two users the Role of Super Admin. Roles are assigned depending on the person's Role within your club.
Â
Note: Adding the Association role to a user with the Super Admin role is possible. This person will then have two roles within the organization.

In the Participant section, click on INVITE.
Â
Enter the participant's email address - this will send a link inviting them to create an account on Spordle Play. Adding a note is optional.
Â
Click Send
Â
The member will receive an email invitation to create an account.
